Introduction The art of teaching involves different styles and methods of instructing. An educator’s ability to apply effective instructional strategies should understand how students learn. There is no single learning approach or style that works for every student.(Cetin) This paper will reflect upon my observation and participation during my field experience and demonstrate how it relates to the concepts of course material studied during this semester, â€Å"EDUC 2130, Exploring Teaching and Learning†. Field Experience Site: Lanier Technical College Wood’s Mill Adult Education Center My field experience placement during Educational Psychology was at Wood’s Mill Adult Education Center. Wood’s Mill Adult Education Center is an extension of Lanier Technical College. The Adult Education Program is a free instructional program specifically designed for adult learners age sixteen and older, who have not graduated from high school. The services provided at Wood’s Mill Adult Education Center include literacy instruction, basic skills, General Education Development (GED) preparation, English as a Second Language (ESOL) and American citizenship classes. Classes are held Monday thru Thursday in the morning and evening. Morning classes begin at 9:00 am and end at 12 noon. Evening classes begin at 5:30 pm and end at 8:30 pm.
